Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Keats (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Better Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Better Muller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Keats!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Better Muller!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keats takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
No joy there for Muller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Muller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Keats manages to avoid it.
Muller scores with a jab to the head.
Muller misses the shot to the body.
Keats looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Keats scoring well with a low kick there.
Muller throws a hook to the side of Keats's head but Keats sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Keats throws a low kick but Muller moves out of range easily.
Muller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Muller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Keats on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Muller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Muller closes the distance and clinches up with Keats, looking for a takedown. Muller pushes Keats against the cage but Keats circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ben Keats has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Better Muller.
Keats is looking to land body kicks.
Keats goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Keats scores with a head kick. Muller tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Keats thuds his right hand into Muller's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ben Keats is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Muller presses Keats against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Still in the clinch, Muller scores with a nice short uppercut.
Muller turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Muller manages to end up in side control.
Keats is looking to regain half guard here but Muller keeps moving and retains side control.

Keats parries the strikes from Muller easily there. Muller is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Keats to escape.
Muller tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
You can see the frustration on Keats's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Muller lands some shots froms side control.
It looks like Ben Keats has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Muller throws an elbow but Keats slips to the side and avoids it well.
Muller has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Keats!
Muller unloads with some shots from mount but Keats bucks and avoids them well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Better Muller dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ben Keats's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Muller shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Keats napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Keats tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Muller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Keats is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Muller asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Keats looking for a sweep but Muller has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Keats tries to lock up and control but Muller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Muller lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Ben Keats's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ben Keats's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
