The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pietrzak lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pietrzak avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gallows throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pietrzak.
Pietrzak takes a swing at Gallows's ribcage but misses.
Pietrzak stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A head kick misses from Gallows.
Gallows lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pietrzak circles away quickly and effectively.
Pietrzak pushes Gallows up against the cage in a clinch.
Gallows missing with knees to the body.
Pietrzak throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Pietrzak lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Gallows is trying to break the clinch but Pietrzak has him pressed against the cage.
Gallows is trying to push Pietrzak away but Pietrzak has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Gallows blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A frustrated look appears on Gallows's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Gallows swings wildly with an uppercut but Pietrzak uses good head movement to avoid it.

Gallows breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pietrzak scores with a hook to the body. Gallows takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Pietrzak pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Pietrzak throws a good cross that connects.
Pietrzak jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gallows tries to bum rush Pietrzak with a series of wild strikes but Pietrzak uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gallows is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Pietrzak tries for a takedown but Gallows sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pietrzak throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gallows tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pietrzak swivels and escapes.
Pietrzak moves out of range as Gallows throws a body kick.
Gallows throws a head kick that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gallows gets the takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
I wouldn't like to be where Pietrzak is right now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pietrzak can't do much from the bottom here.
Pietrzak tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Pietrzak regains half guard.
Pietrzak wants to control but Gallows is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Pietrzak controlling the position well.
Pietrzak is looking to improve his position.
Pietrzak is not content to let Gallows control the position.
Pietrzak is looking to escape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gallows throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pietrzak.
Gallows will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gallows fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pietrzak has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Pietrzak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gallows fails with a takedown attempt.

Pietrzak blocks a jab.
An inside leg kick from Gallows misses.
Gallows tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pietrzak is able to avoid easily.
Pietrzak fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gallows on the side of the head.
Pietrzak throws a hook to the side of Gallows's head but Gallows sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tyler Gallows seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gallows tries to sprawl but Pietrzak drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Pietrzak controlling the pace.
Gallows on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gallows tries to get out of the position.
Pietrzak prevents Gallows from standing back up.

Pietrzak is pressing down on Gallows's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gallows is holding on for now.
Pietrzak frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Pietrzak tries to control but Gallows wriggling away.
Pietrzak is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gallows is surviving well by controlling Pietrzak's body position as best he can.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pietrzak looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gallows!
Gallows is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Pietrzak is landing with some decent strikes but Gallows is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Pietrzak is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gallows has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gallows!
Pietrzak is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Pietrzak is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gallows is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Bartek Pietrzak decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
