And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a body kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Smith.
Kongo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Smith looks like he's trying to stand up.
Smith is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kongo pulls his head out easily.
Kongo stops Smith from getting back to his feet.
Kongo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Kongo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Smith's head.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Smith wants to improve his position but Kongo is controlling well.
Kongo is thwarting Smith's attempts to control the position.
Kongo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Smith tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kongo!
