Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Bisping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quinton Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisping misses with a straight right.
Bisping misses with a lunging right hand
and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bisping throws a poor cross that misses
and Jackson counters with a nice body shot.
Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bisping sprawls well. Bisping wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.
Bisping throws a poor cross that misses
and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings Bisping.
Bisping throws out a loose jab but Jackson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bisping lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bisping sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackson somewhat.
Jackson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bisping misses the jab.
Michael Bisping seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bisping looks to land a right hand but Jackson moved out of range.
Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bisping pinned against the ropes. Bisping gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Michael Bisping has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinton Jackson.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bisping darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bisping throws a poor cross that misses
and Jackson counters with a two punch combo.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson fails with a takedown attempt.
Bisping looks to land a right hand but Jackson moved out of range.
Jackson moves forwards but Bisping connects with a nice, crisp jab.


It looks like Quinton Jackson has been cut.
Jackson looks gassed!
Jackson slips a jab from Bisping.
Bisping throws an off balance right hand
letting Jackson counter with a right hand.
Jackson staying out of range there.
Jackson throws a right hand that Bisping ducks under and follows up with a left that Bisping also avoids with ease.
Bisping lunges at Jackson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jackson's hand.
Jackson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.


Jackson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bisping throws a hook to the side of Jackson's head but Jackson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Bisping finish him?
Jackson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bisping.
Jackson seems to have recovered his senses.
Bisping misses with a hook
and Jackson counters with a three punch combo that has Bisping backing up. Bisping nods at Jackson to acknowledge the strikes.
Bisping misses the jab.
Bisping misses with a hook. Jackson ducked under it nicely.
Jackson walks straight into a right hand from Bisping - that's dropped him! Bisping jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jackson from any more punishment! Jackson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Michael Bisping!
