Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock has chosen Mortal Kombat theme song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ken Shamrock is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wrestling Spar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ken Shamrock! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shamrock tries to avoid it but Spar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shamrock to the ground. Shamrock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Shamrock jabbing away but nothing is landing. Spar gets caught napping as Shamrock dives in and scores a takedown. Spar manages to retain guard. Spar wants to get back to his feet but Shamrock is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Spar keeping moving, preventing Shamrock from controlling successfully. Shamrock stands and throws Spar's legs to the side, diving into side control. Shamrock goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Spar has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Shamrock but great work by Spar. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shamrock holding on. Shamrock wants to control but Spar postures up. What's Shamrock going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Shamrock manages to work his way to half guard, despite Spar's best efforts. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Spar connects with a nice short shot to Shamrock's temple. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Shamrock keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Spar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shamrock's head. Spar throwing shots but Shamrock is blocking nicely. Shamrock is trying to get back to full guard. Spar tries for a takedown but Shamrock circles away easily and Shamrock counters with a left and a right that stings Spar. A cross from Shamrock lands. Spar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shamrock sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Spar somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wrestling Spar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Spar is breathing heavily. Shamrock feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shamrock drops back looking for a leg! Spar is in trouble here! Spar looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Spar! Shamrock takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Spar prevents Shamrock from escaping the position. Spar wants to control but Shamrock is keeping him busy. Shamrock tries to get back to half guard but can't. Shamrock is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Spar has just dragged him back down to the mat. Shamrock is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Spar's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Spar shoots in for a takedown but Shamrock shows good takedown defense. Spar is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Shamrock paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Shamrock misses with a straight right. Spar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Spar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shamrock avoids it really well and circles away.
