Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bastien Leblanc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sadeeq Bahadurzada! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bahadurzada throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bahadurzada throws a lazy right hand but Leblanc sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bahadurzada throws a jab but it's blocked by Leblanc. Leblanc ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bahadurzada misses with a two punch combination.
Leblanc tries a head kick but it misses.
Leblanc shoots in for a takedown but Bahadurzada shows good takedown defense. Bahadurzada lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Bahadurzada connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Bastien Leblanc has been cut. Leblanc slips under a jab. Leblanc moves out of range as Bahadurzada strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Leblanc steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bahadurzada. Leblanc fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bahadurzada avoids it really well and circles away. Bahadurzada moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Leblanc is defended easily by Bahadurzada. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bastien Leblanc. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bahadurzada swings widly with a right hand
and Leblanc counters by clinching up. Leblanc has Bahadurzada pushed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leblanc decides to pull guard. Leblanc working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bahadurzada doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Leblanc is tightening it up a little... Bahadurzada has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bahadurzada reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bahadurzada taps out! Nice BJJ there by Leblanc!
