With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erik Everlast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Waleed Malik!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malik avoids the body shot from Everlast.
Everlast connects with a single shot there.
Malik is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Malik throws a sloppy head kick
enabling Everlast to counter with a crisp jab.
Malik throws a push kick but Everlast slaps the foot to one side.
Everlast throws out a powerful jab.
A big right from Everlast misses.
Everlast thows a body shot but no joy.
Everlast swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Everlast throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Malik.
Malik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Malik on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Everlast throws a series of punches but Malik moves out of range.
Everlast dodges the punch combination from Malik.
Malik fails to land with a series of punches.
Everlast scores with a nice strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Malik blocks a jab.
Everlast misses the shot to the body.
Malik steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Everlast.
Malik throws a head kick but Everlast moves out of range.
Nice body kick there by Malik.
A telegraphed right hand from Everlast misses the target.

Malik clinches with his opponent.
Everlast struggles to land a body shot inside as Malik controls his hands.

Malik breaks from the clinch.

Everlast rushes Malik and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Malik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A bone on bone clash there as Malik blocks the leg kick.
Malik with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Malik throws a head kick but Everlast moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Malik moves out of range as Everlast strikes.
Malik throws a wild body kick that Everlast sees coming a mile off.
Everlast is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Malik.
Malik scores with a sloppy right hand. Everlast should have avoided that one.


Everlast is rocked!
Everlast tries to bum rush Malik with a series of wild strikes but Malik uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Everlast misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Everlast misses the shot to the body.
Malik circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Everlast drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Malik follows Everlast to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
