The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasic swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hasic takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hasic missing with a left hand there. Mixins was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Mixins counters with a good low kick that Hasic was not able to check.
Mixins shoots for a double leg takedown but Hasic sprawls well. He's pushed Mixins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mixins walks into a straight right hand from Hasic.
It looks like Biscuit Mixins has been cut.
Mixins fails with a takedown attempt.
Mixins tries to land a front kick but Hasic steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hasic dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Mixins tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hasic smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Biscuit Mixins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A combination from Hasic does no damage.
Mixins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hasic is trying to defend but Mixins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Hasic wants to stand back up but Mixins manages to pass into side control.
Mixins connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hasic some visible discomfort.

Mixins cracks Hasic with a big right hand but Hasic just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hasic is looking to regain half guard here but Mixins keeps moving and retains side control.

Hasic tries to escape but Mixins is in control.

Hasic is trying to get back to half guard.
Hasic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mixins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mixins scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hasic to see if he's OK.
