Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malcom Dwyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Burnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Malcom Dwyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Burnett! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Burnett misses. Burnett swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Burnett. Burnett steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dwyer. Burnett dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dwyer misses with a double jab
and Burnett counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Burnett defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dwyer. Dwyer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Burnett.
Burnett lands with a cross. Dwyer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dwyer misses with a hook. Burnett ducked under it nicely. Dwyer takes a swing at Burnett's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burnett swings for the body but Dwyer moves out of range.
Burnett takes the fight into the clinch. Dwyer wants to take the fight to the mat but Burnett manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Dwyer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Burnett content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Burnett lands a left hand.
A short right from Burnett. Dwyer has had enough of the clinch but Burnett keeps him there for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burnett lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dwyer. A bit of stalling here from Burnett.
Burnett misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dwyer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Burnett's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Dwyer is trying to drag Burnett to the mat but Burnett just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Malcom Dwyer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burnett taking a breather. Burnett manages to break the clinch.
Burnett lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Burnett connects with a looping right hand.
Dwyer looks to score with a jab to the body but Burnett is just out of range. Dwyer takes a shot to the body in his stride.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dwyer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burnett manages to avoid it. Burnett ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Burnett misses with a body shot.

Dwyer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Burnett. Burnett with a jab. Burnett lands with a right hand. Burnett swings for the body but Dwyer moves out of range.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Burnett thuds his right hand into Dwyer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Dwyer misses with a looping right. Dwyer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Burnett napping and manages to drive through into side control! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Dwyer tries for a kimura but Burnett is defending well. Dwyer content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Burnett tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Dwyer working the body and head with strikes. You can see the frustration on Burnett's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Burnett is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dwyer trying to control the action but Burnett is working from the bottom. Sloppy strikes there by Dwyer. Dwyer working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Burnett wants to control but Dwyer postures up. The ground and pound from Dwyer seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Dwyer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dwyer scoring with punches and elbows. Dwyer lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Burnett trying to remain calm as Dwyer controls from the top position. Dwyer looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Burnett is avoiding damage well.
The ground and pound from Dwyer seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Burnett can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Burnett tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dwyer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Dwyer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burnett keeps working. Burnett is looking for a sweep. Dwyer has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Burnett! Dwyer fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
This has been an exciting period of action! Dwyer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Burnett is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dwyer lands with some strikes.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Dwyer punishing his opponent with strikes. Burnett keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dwyer controlling from mount. The referee warns Burnett that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Burnett blocking the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dwyer lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Burnett hang on? Burnett is bucking up trying to escape but Dwyer cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Malcom Dwyer. I think Dwyer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
