Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Franz Berg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Ricardo! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab-cross combination lands for Berg and sends Ricardo crashing to the mat! Berg follows him down to the mat - Ricardo regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like John Ricardo has been cut. Ricardo wants to improve his position but Berg is controlling well.

Ricardo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Berg's guard. Ricardo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Ricardo slips nicely into half guard. Ricardo tries to pass to full mount but Berg defends it. Ricardo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Berg is defending against the submission attempts here by Ricardo.

Berg is looking to clinch. Ricardo tries to keep at a distance but Berg has taken the fight into the clinch. A short left from Berg. Berg lands a hook to the side of the head. Berg lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Berg lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Berg makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A nice right hand lands inside from Berg. Berg breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Berg looks to land a combination but Ricardo avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ricardo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Ricardo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Berg is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ricardo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ricardo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Berg is trying to buck Ricardo off. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ricardo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Berg, who protects the arm well. Ricardo tries to advance to mount but Berg denies him. Berg is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Berg bucks up and tries to throw Ricardo off but instead Ricardo has got his back! Berg trying to get back to his feet but Ricardo is in full control for now. Berg is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Berg trying to get back to his feet but Ricardo is in full control for now. Ricardo is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Berg defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Ricardo sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Berg taps out!
