The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinner moves forwards but Bullwinkle connects with a nice, crisp jab.


It looks like Dan Skinner has been cut.

Rocky Bullwinkle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Skinner shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bullwinkle's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bullwinkle can't keep his opponent in guard - Skinner advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Skinner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bullwinkle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Skinner.

Skinner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bullwinkle keeps working.
Bullwinkle wants to control but Skinner is keeping busy.

Bullwinkle lands a head kick. Skinner smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


That has opened up Dan Skinner's cut even more.
Bullwinkle lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Bullwinkle scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bullwinkle is breathing heavily.
Skinner throws a nice looking combination but Bullwinkle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bullwinkle uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Skinner has time to react.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Skinner closes the distance and clinches.
Skinner jumps guard but Bullwinkle turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
