Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brais Punk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richardt Bam Bam!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punk throws out a loose jab but Bam Bam uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bam Bam bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Punk's head backwards.
Punk takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Punk crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bam Bam - the referee stops the clock and Punk gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bam Bam. Punk manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Punk avoids the body shot from Bam Bam.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bam Bam. Punk does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bam Bam avoids the head kick by Punk.
Bam Bam throws a leg kick which misses Punk's front leg but catches the back leg as Punk tries to avoid it.
Punk looks for the body kick but Bam Bam saw that one coming.
Bam Bam throws a one two combo.
Nice uppercut there from Bam Bam.
Punk fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bam Bam throws a low kick, looking for Punk's leg but Punk calmly moves out of range.
Punk slips a jab from Bam Bam.
Bam Bam changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bam Bam misses with a leg kick.
A head kick misses from Bam Bam.

A slapping body kick lands there for Bam Bam.
Bam Bam thuds his right hand into Punk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Bam Bam lands a high kick!
Bam Bam leaves Punk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Bam Bam as Punk shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brais Punk. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Punk shoots in for a double leg but Bam Bam sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Bam Bam is looking to break free of the clinch but Punk has double underhooks.
Bam Bam tries to circle away but Punk has him pinned against the cage.
Bam Bam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That kick from Bam Bam tenderised Punk's leg. Punk is trying to keep his angry face on.

Bam Bam lunges at Punk with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Punk's hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bam Bam goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bam Bam misses with a looping left.
Bam Bam smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bam Bam fails to land with a series of punches.
A good leg kick by Bam Bam.
Bam Bam just misses with a punch to the body.
A low kick from Punk misses
and Bam Bam counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Richardt Bam Bam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bam Bam connects with the punch.
Bam Bam scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bam Bam scores with a nice body kick.
Bam Bam tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bam Bam misses with a double jab.
Punk looks for a takedown but Bam Bam sprawls well.
Punk on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Punk's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bam Bam connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Punk scrambles back to his feet.
Bam Bam swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bam Bam throws a right and a left that both miss.
Punk takes one to the chin there.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Punk. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Punk pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Punk walks into a straight right hand from Bam Bam.
A good leg kick by Bam Bam.
Punk fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bam Bam to the ground. Punk is now in Bam Bam's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bam Bam is working an open guard so Punk takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Bam Bam stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Punk gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bam Bam wants to break free but Punk has control.
Punk manages to break the clinch.

Bam Bam swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Punk counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Punk.
Punk not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Punk wants to control from the top but Bam Bam keeps moving.
Punk postures up and lands a big shot to Bam Bam's brow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Punk prevents Bam Bam from getting back to his feet.
Punk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bam Bam swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Richardt Bam Bam dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bam Bam throws a body punch but Punk moves out of range.
Bam Bam lands a nice leg kick that just misses Punk's sensitive parts.

A left and a right from Bam Bam both land. Nice combination.

Punk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bam Bam sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Punk somewhat.
Bam Bam's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bam Bam duly obliges.
Punk shoots in and gets a takedown into Bam Bam's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bam Bam wants to stand up but Punk is controlling him.
Punk throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bam Bam works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Punk trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Punk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Punk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bam Bam swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Punk drops back looking for a leg! Bam Bam is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bam Bam manages to kick Punk off! Punk jumps back into Bam Bam's guard.
Bam Bam wants to stand up but Punk is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Punk lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Punk gets to his feet - Bam Bam follows without any prompting.
Bam Bam thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Punk if he has to take too many more of those.

Bam Bam ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Punk moves away.
Bam Bam fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Punk manages to avoid it.

Punk is looking to clinch.
Punk fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bam Bam avoids it really well and circles away.

Bam Bam throws a lazy right hand but Punk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Punk will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Bam Bam lands with a kick to the temple. Punk shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Brais Punk has been cut.

Bam Bam throws a nice outside leg kick.
Punk closes the distance and clinches up with Bam Bam, looking for a takedown. Punk pushes Bam Bam against the cage but Bam Bam circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Richardt Bam Bam showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Brais Punk's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Punk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bam Bam.

Punk takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Bam Bam tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Punk manages to move to mount!
Punk thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Bam Bam wants to try and get back to his feet.
Punk has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bam Bam's face.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bam Bam can't escape the position.
Punk with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Bam Bam has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Punk controlling the position well here. Bam Bam rolled but Punk kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Brais Punk overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Brais Punk showed his dominance in that final round.
