Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tug Speedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Jericho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jericho has chosen Awesome God as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tug Speedman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rey Jericho! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jericho takes the fight into the clinch. Speedman is defending well against a takedown attempt. Jericho drops down looking for an ankle pick but Speedman pulls his leg out and moves away.
Speedman throws a body punch but Jericho moves out of range. Speedman looks to land a left hand but Jericho moved out of range nicely. Speedman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jericho looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Speedman is looking to improve his position.

Tug Speedman has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. A slow jab from Speedman misses its intended target. Jericho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Speedman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jericho somewhat. Jericho tests Speedman's chin there with a solid looking shot. Speedman throws a hook but Jericho avoids it easily. Speedman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jericho shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Speedman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jericho landing with the ground and pound. Jericho is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Jericho working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jericho keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Speedman's head. Jericho trying to control the position from guard on top but Speedman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jericho throws an elbow that misses. Speedman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jericho's guard. Nice move by Speedman! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Speedman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jericho is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jericho takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Jericho drives through with a takedown into Speedman's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Jericho missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Speedman has his hands on Jericho's head, controlling the position. Jericho stopping the sweep attempt from Speedman. Jericho throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Speedman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jericho is in close to Speedman's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jericho throws a big elbow that misses. Jericho throws a strike but Speedman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jericho wriggles free and stands up. Jericho bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jericho has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The strikes coming from Jericho are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Speedman avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jericho. Jericho lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Speedman down.
Jericho throws a strike aimed at the side of Speedman's head but Speedman avoids it well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Speedman taking a bit of punishment here - Jericho scoring with strikes. Jericho working the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Check out the look on Jericho's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Speedman is rocked! Jericho in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Speedman looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Jericho turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rey Jericho! Rey Jericho was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
