Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Keynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aima Hei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keynes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Concerto for Four Violins in B minor. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Keynes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aima Hei! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keynes throws a low kick but Hei avoids it. Keynes throws a leg kick and Hei makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hei shoots in looking for a takedown. Keynes tries to sprawl out of it but Hei keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Keynes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hei, as that shot connected.
Hei looks to score with a jab to the body but Keynes is just out of range. Keynes tests Hei's chin there with a solid looking shot. Keynes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hei as he jumps to the side. Hei takes a swing at Keynes's ribcage but misses. Hei misses the shot to the body. Hei checks a leg kick nicely. Hei scores a takedown into full mount! Keynes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hei looking to control but Keynes is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hei lands a big elbow. Keynes sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Hei trying to control the pace. Keynes is looking to improve his position.
Keynes is not content to let Hei control the position. Keynes avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hei. Keynes wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hei is looking to take a break and control but Keynes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Keynes wants to improve his position but Hei is controlling well.
Keynes is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Hei jumps into side control! Hei working away. Hei is putting a hurting on Keynes here, landing some big shots from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hei working the head and body with strikes. Hei misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Keynes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hei off and has taken his back! Hei trying to control the hands but Keynes breaks the grip. Keynes landing with strikes. Keynes avoiding Hei 's attempts to control his hands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keynes nearly escaped from the position there. Hei has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Keynes. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Keynes landing with strikes. Keynes missing with strikes from the back. Hei is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Keynes is trying to stick to Hei's back but Hei is turning into Keynes. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Keynes's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hei. Keynes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Keynes is working hard here to advance position. Hei wants to control from the top but Keynes keeps moving. Keynes working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hei. Hei tries to free his leg and advance position but Keynes is retaining full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hei stopping the sweep attempt from Keynes. Hei wants to control from the top but Keynes keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Keynes lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hei! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Aima Hei will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Keynes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hei manages to avoid it. Hei ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Hei takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Keynes fakes the leg kick and cracks Hei in the body. Keynes throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Hei misses with a body kick. Good exchange - Hei coming out on top. Hei throws a body punch but Keynes moves out of range. A head kick misses from Hei. An inside leg kick lands from Keynes. Keynes clobbers Hei with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sloppy strikes from Keynes. Those never looked like landing. Keynes throws a leg kick that is checked and Hei counters with a stiff right hand. A big right from Hei misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hei slips under a jab from Keynes. Keynes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hei swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hei misses with a looping left. That kick from Hei tenderised Keynes's leg. Keynes is trying to keep his angry face on. Hei takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Hei fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Keynes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Hei is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Keynes rather than just go for the knockout. Keynes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Keynes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hei. Hei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hei sizes up Keynes with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Keynes wants to land a leg kick but Hei is out of range. Hei swings for the body but Keynes moves out of range.
Keynes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Keynes missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keynes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Keynes trying to control but Hei is working from the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Keynes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Keynes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hei works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Keynes postures up.
Keynes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Keynes trying to control the position from guard on top but Hei is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hei looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Keynes scoring well with a low kick there.
Hei misses with a lunging right hand
and Keynes counters with a nice kick to the body. Keynes scores with a nice body kick.
Hei throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hei throws a front kick aimed at Keynes's knee but Keynes avoids it well. A looping hook to the body misses from Hei. Keynes does a little dance to reset his feet. Hei connects with a jab. Keynes goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A nice inside leg kick there by Keynes. That's going to slow Hei down. Keynes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hei's waist but Hei gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Keynes off to one side. Hei lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. A momentary lapse in concentration from Hei enables Keynes to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hei manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hei looking to hit a scissor sweep but Keynes is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hei keeping moving, preventing Keynes from controlling successfully. John Keynes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hei working a defensive guard here.

and Keynes counters with a straight right hand. Hei cracks Keynes with an open hand slap. Keynes swings for the body but Hei moves out of range.
Keynes lands with a nice body kick. Keynes shoots in looking for a takedown but Hei manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Keynes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Keynes tries to land a body kick and Hei counters with a lovely straight right hand! Keynes swings for the body but Hei moves out of range.

Keynes takes a shot right to the bread basket. Hei moves out of range as Keynes strikes. Hei thuds a left hand into Keynes's body. Hei slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Hei fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Keynes manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keynes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Keynes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hei sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Keynes somewhat. A solid body kick from Keynes. Hei cracks Keynes with an open hand slap. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hei, right into the meat.
John Keynes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Keynes looks to throw the jab but Hei is out of range. Hei feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Keynes's calf. Keynes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hei looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Keynes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Keynes working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Keynes working the strikes but Hei uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Keynes seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hei is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
