Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Wilsooooon James Da Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Black Belt! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James Da Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
James Da Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Belt to the mat! Belt manages to get full guard. Belt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Belt is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. James Da Silva showing good wrestling skills to control the position. James Da Silva pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Belt is keeping the position for now. James Da Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. James Da Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. He's got his arms around Belt's waist but Belt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James Da Silva off to one side. Belt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

James Da Silva eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James Da Silva is keen to just control but Belt is a slippery customer. James Da Silva trying to pass the guard but Belt defending well. Well, if James Da Silva is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. James Da Silva uses his free foot to push down on Belt's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Belt. James Da Silva trying to control but Belt is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wilsooooon James Da Silva. I think Belt has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
