Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Begbie Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franco's entrance music is Born Slippy. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Begbie Franco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Sumrall! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franco takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Franco looks for the body kick but Sumrall saw that one coming. Pat Sumrall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A good leg kick by Franco. Franco explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Franco swats away the attempt to clinch by Sumrall. Franco throws a head kick but Sumrall moves out of range.
Franco paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Sumrall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Franco circles away quickly and effectively. Sumrall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sumrall takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sumrall checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. The fight stays on the outside here - Sumrall looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sumrall dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Franco. That did some damage! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sumrall lands a nice leg kick that just misses Franco's sensitive parts. Franco slips a jab and a cross from Sumrall.

Sumrall tries to clinch but fails miserably and Franco counters with a thumping low kick. Sumrall throws a body punch but Franco moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sumrall tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Franco manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sumrall tries to clinch up. Franco looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sumrall misses with the combination.
A swing and a miss from Sumrall. Sumrall throws a nice looking combination but Franco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sumrall moves into the clinch successfully.

Franco lands with a nice body kick. Sumrall looks gassed! Sumrall connects with a leg kick. Franco looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Franco thumps Sumrall with a low kick. Sumrall misses with a head kick.
Sumrall tries to close the distance and clinch but Franco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A head kick misses from Sumrall. This has been an exciting period of action! Franco cracks Sumrall with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Pat Sumrall has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Franco pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sumrall misses with a hook. Franco ducked under it nicely. Franco throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Sumrall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Franco manages to avoid it. Franco throws a nice outside leg kick. Franco throws a series of strikes that have Sumrall backpedaling.
Franco connects with an inside leg kick. Franco throws a nice outside leg kick. Sumrall takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Franco throws the kick towards the body but Sumrall avoids it. Franco lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Franco misses with a body kick. Sumrall tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Sumrall takes a swing at Franco's ribcage but misses. Sumrall moves out of range of the body kick from Franco.
Sumrall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Franco moves away. Sumrall steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Franco. That one must have hurt. Sumrall's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Franco turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sumrall moves out of range of the body kick from Franco.
Sumrall takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A head kick misses from Franco. Sumrall checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Franco feints and then cracks Sumrall's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sumrall down. Franco lands a jab. Franco tries to land a front kick but Sumrall steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Franco scores with a head kick.
Franco looks for the body kick but Sumrall saw that one coming. Sumrall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Franco blocks a head kick by Sumrall.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Franco feints and then cracks Sumrall's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sumrall down. A leg kick checked by Franco. Franco avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Franco lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sumrall has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sumrall and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sumrall tries to clinch up but Franco circles away and keeps his distance. Sumrall avoids the body shot from Franco.
Sumrall steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Franco. Sumrall takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A chopping leg kick lands by Franco. Franco connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That has opened up Pat Sumrall's cut even more. Franco with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sumrall takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Franco lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sumrall's sensitive parts. Franco lands with a right hand. Franco will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Begbie Franco dominated that round. The cut man is working on Pat Sumrall's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Franco throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sumrall tries to clinch but Franco moves out of range. Sumrall scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Franco turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Sumrall is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Franco rather than just go for the knockout. Sumrall fails in his attempt to clinch. Sumrall lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Sumrall throws a solid leg kick but Franco takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sumrall. Franco misses with a kick to the body.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sumrall. Franco does a little dance to reset his feet. Sumrall wants to clinch up but Franco keeps it at a distance. Franco lands a jab to the nose. Sumrall fails to land with a series of punches.

The cut above Pat Sumrall's eye is starting to cause him problems now. A solid leg kick lands there for Franco.
Franco walks into a jab. Sumrall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sumrall is breathing heavily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Franco, as that shot connected.
Franco pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Franco plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Franco is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sumrall can do to turn this around? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sumrall tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sumrall is looking to clinch. Franco blocks a head kick by Sumrall.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sumrall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Franco was well out of range. Poor timing from Sumrall. Franco lands with a kick to the temple. Sumrall shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Pat Sumrall's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pat Sumrall's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Begbie Franco! A relieved looking Begbie Franco thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
