Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clifton Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leeroy Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Russo is out of range.
Barnes takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Clifton Barnes has been cut.
Barnes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Russo manages to avoid it.

Russo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Russo feints and then cracks Barnes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Barnes down.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Barnes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Russo moves into range and clinches up with Barnes.

Barnes has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
