Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Fingers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers has chosen Im tired. U suck. as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Duddy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bobby Fingers! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fingers has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Duddy. Nice takedown defense from Duddy. No joy for Fingers on that attempt. Fingers throws a right and a left that both miss. Duddy throws a right and a left that Fingers avoids nicely. Duddy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fingers's calf. Fingers dives in and grabs Duddy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Duddy pushes down on Fingers's head and hops out. A head kick misses from Duddy. John Duddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fingers's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fingers duly obliges. Fingers scores with a crisp jab that stopped Duddy in his tracks. Duddy fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Fingers is out of range. Duddy slips under a jab from Fingers. Fingers slips a jab and a cross from Duddy.

That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Duddy misses. Fingers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Duddy circles away. John Duddy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Fingers. Duddy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fingers ducks right into an uppercut from Duddy. Duddy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fingers as he jumps to the side. The fight moves into the clinch position. Fingers blocking some punches.
Fingers is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Duddy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Duddy throws a head punch that misses. Fingers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Duddy tries to clinch but Fingers moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fingers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Duddy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duddy with a lazy takedown attempt and Fingers counters with a three punch combo that has Duddy backing up. Duddy nods at Fingers to acknowledge the strikes. Fingers looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Duddy! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fingers trying to control but he's not successful this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fingers controlling from the full mount. Fingers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Duddy is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fingers throwing strikes here but Duddy is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Duddy wants to control but Fingers is having none of it. Fingers sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Fingers blocks Duddy's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Fingers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Duddy is looking to escape. Duddy slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Fingers is looking to advance position but Duddy won't allow it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fingers is looking to take a break and control but Duddy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John Duddy will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Fingers throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Duddy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fingers is in Duddy's guard. Fingers pushing down on Duddy's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Duddy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fingers's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fingers's back! Will Duddy go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

That's two minutes gone in the round. Duddy thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Duddy looking to hold on to the position here but Fingers rolls and ends up regaining guard.
Duddy looking to sit in guard and control but Fingers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Duddy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fingers is one step ahead there. Fingers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fingers wants to stand but Duddy is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duddy wants to get back to his feet but Fingers passes into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fingers is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Duddy defends it well. Duddy missing with punches from the bottom.

Fingers wants to stand but Duddy has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Fingers thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Duddy's head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fingers is looking to take a break and control but Duddy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that John Duddy will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Nope, Duddy circles away and we're back to standing. Duddy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Duddy wants it to stay on the feet. Fingers blocks a head kick by Duddy.
John Duddy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fingers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Duddy lands a glancing blow to the side of Fingers's head. Fingers moves away from the strike by Duddy. Fingers misses with a double jab.
Fingers shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Duddy defends it nicely. Fingers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Duddy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fingers.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fingers throws a combination that misses and Duddy counters with a right hand to the body. Duddy scores with a punch to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Duddy drops Fingers with a beautiful combination! Fingers stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Duddy is looking for the KO!
Fingers is rocked!
It looks like Bobby Fingers has been cut. Fingers gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Duddy points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Fingers wakes up just in time to hear Duddy thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Duddy! John Duddy seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
