Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jumo Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - TNT. Sudo has chosen Roy Jones - Can't Be Touched as his entrance music. Big Bob has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Big Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jumo Sudo! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sudo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bob circles away. Bob lands a jab to Sudo's midsection. Bob throws an overhand right that lands on Sudo's shoulder, as Sudo tries to avoid the shot. Sudo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bob. A good leg kick by Sudo. Bob scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bob throws a quick inside leg kick. Bob misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sudo wants to slow Bob down by chopping away at his legs. A jab from Sudo does it's job there.

Sudo with a jab. Bob throws a right and a left that Sudo avoids nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters circling - Bob throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sudo slips a jab from Bob. Bob throws a jab but it's blocked by Sudo. Nice body punch from Bob.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob blocks a jab. Bob pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sudo is out of range and Bob settles back down. Bob displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sudo. Bob misses with a looping left. Sudo throws a head kick but Bob moves out of range.
Bob sends Sudo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bob is motioning to the referee to let Sudo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Sudo thuds his shin into the meat of Bob's side. Bob connects with a leg kick. Sudo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Bob throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sudo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bob. Sudo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bob manages to avoid it. Sudo avoids the body shot from Bob.

Sudo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Sudo lands a head kick. Bob smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bob misses with a leg kick. Sudo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Sudo fails in his attempt to clinch. Sudo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bob quickly recovers to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sudo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bob keeps working. Sudo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sudo is working for a submission of some sort.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Bob is looking for a sweep. Sudo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sudo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sudo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sudo is looking to take a break and control but Bob is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sudo misses with a head shot. Bob uses the momentum to regain guard. Sudo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Sudo wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving. Bob looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sudo is one step ahead there. Bob not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sudo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sudo throwing strikes from guard but Bob blocks nicely. That's seven minutes gone in the round. Sudo trying to control the action but Bob is working from the bottom. Sudo scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sudo is looking for submissions but instead, Bob has regained full guard.
Sudo postures up in Bob's guard and throws a big left but Bob blocks it. Bob keeping full guard, as Sudo tries to pass. Bob working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sudo. Sudo wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Sudo cracks Bob with a solid left hand. Sudo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bob controls Sudo momentarily but Sudo frees himself. Bob is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bob keeping moving, preventing Sudo from controlling successfully. Bob pulls Sudo in close to prevent any damage. Bob looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sudo is one step ahead there. This has been an exciting period of action! Sudo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bob works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Bob can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sudo controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sudo throws a lazy body kick and Bob counters with a slapping leg kick. Bob avoids the head kick by Sudo.
Sudo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bob. Sudo tries to clinch but Bob is having none of it. Bob swats away the attempt to clinch by Sudo. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sudo jabs Bob right on the nose. Bob blinks but takes it well.
Bob is rocked! Sudo throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Bob crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 9:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jumo Sudo! An out of breath and clearly excited Jumo Sudo thanked Conviction for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
