The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

so Rhodes counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sanchez is controlling Rhodes's posture.
Sanchez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rhodes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Sanchez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rhodes defends it easily.

It looks like Rhodes might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Dusty Rhodes has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Rhodes shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sanchez is trying to defend but Rhodes finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Rhodes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sanchez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sanchez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
