Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie Jr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is UFC Original Theme Music . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Royce Gracie Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chris Riley! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riley lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gracie Jr at a distance.
Gracie Jr misses with a wild body shot. Riley with a lazy takedown attempt and Gracie Jr counters with a big head kick but Riley shrugs it off. Riley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Riley manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gracie Jr on his heels. He'll look to pass Gracie Jr's guard now, I'm sure. Riley wants to control from the top but Gracie Jr keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Riley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Riley has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie Jr's legs - danger averted. Riley trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracie Jr is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie Jr keeping moving, preventing Riley from controlling successfully. Riley looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Chris Riley hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Riley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gracie Jr is trying to defend but Riley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Gracie Jr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gracie Jr is trying to maintain the position but Riley is very close to passing his half guard. Gracie Jr keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riley is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Riley is keen to just control but Gracie Jr is a slippery customer. Gracie Jr makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie Jr. Riley preventing the sweep. Gracie Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Riley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gracie Jr throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy. This has been an exciting period of action! Riley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Riley throws a big elbow that misses. Riley trying to control but Gracie Jr is working from the bottom. Gracie Jr preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gracie Jr controls Riley momentarily but Riley frees himself. Gracie Jr being controlled here, momentarily. Riley trying to control but Gracie Jr is working from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Gracie Jr is looking for a triangle but Riley pushes his legs off easily.
Gracie Jr has momentary wrist control but Riley slips an elbow through the middle. Gracie Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Riley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Riley wants to pass the guard but Gracie Jr is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riley wants to control from the top but Gracie Jr keeps moving. Riley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie Jr wants to sweep but no luck. Riley trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Chris Riley was stalling too much, according to the referee. Riley shoots in for a takedown but Gracie Jr shows good takedown defense. Royce Gracie Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Riley. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Riley shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Riley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gracie Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Riley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Riley dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A jab from Riley does it's job there. Gracie Jr shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gracie Jr, right into the meat.
Riley fails with the takedown and Gracie Jr makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Riley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gracie Jr sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A looping hook to the body misses from Riley. Gracie Jr does a little dance to reset his feet. Horrible takedown by Riley or perhaps it was just good defense by Gracie Jr which made him look bad. Royce Gracie Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Riley. Gracie Jr slips under a jab from Riley. Riley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gracie Jr throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Riley fails with a takedown attempt. Riley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie Jr's waist but Gracie Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Riley off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riley shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Riley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gracie Jr tries to bum rush Riley with a series of wild strikes but Riley uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Gracie Jr dives in and scores a takedown into Riley's guard. Gracie Jr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gracie Jr wants to control from the top but Riley keeps moving. Riley looking for a sweep. Not yet Riley, not yet. Riley controls Gracie Jr momentarily but Gracie Jr frees himself. Gracie Jr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Horrible takedown by Gracie Jr or perhaps it was just good defense by Riley which made him look bad. Riley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gracie Jr to the ground. Riley is now in Gracie Jr's guard. Gracie Jr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gracie Jr is trying to keep Riley in close.
Riley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Chris Riley has got the better of the ground game so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gracie Jr throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Oh, Gracie Jr has tightened it up now! Riley should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
