Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Niko DeAugustino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Schnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeAugustino comes into the arena with Rigamortus blaring out of the sound system. Schnell is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Chain Music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schnell scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
DeAugustino is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

DeAugustino wants to control but Schnell is keeping busy.
Schnell stops DeAugustino from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schnell wants to free his trapped foot but DeAugustino is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Schnell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of DeAugustino's face.
Oh DeAugustino is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schnell postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. DeAugustino looks a forlorn figure.

Schnell loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have DeAugustino scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Schnell land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Schnell stands and salutes the crowd.

Matt Schnell decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
