Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bjj Spar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Crazy Horse! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spar closes the distance and clinches. Horse taking a breather. Horse content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Horse is looking to control Spar's arms but Spar gets an underhook and turns him. Now Horse has his back to the cage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Crazy Horse. Spar pushes Horse up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spar wants the takedown. Horse is fighting it off but Spar persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Horse's guard against the cage. Spar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Spar tries to free his leg and advance position but Horse is retaining full guard. Spar is stalling in the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bjj Spar. Spar throws a combination that misses and Horse counters with a three punch combo that has Spar backing up. Spar nods at Horse to acknowledge the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Horse trying to control the position but instead, Spar has worked for underhooks and has pushed Horse into the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Horse is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Spar is keeping busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bjj Spar dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Horse lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Spar at a distance.
Spar throws a leg kick and Horse counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horse lands a right hook to the body.

Horse is fighting it off but Spar persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Horse's guard against the cage. Horse wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Spar manages to pass to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spar escapes and gets back to his feet. Bjj Spar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Horse throws a right and a left that both miss. Spar moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bjj Spar dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Horse scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Spar throws a sloppy head kick and Horse moves out of range easily. Spar misses with a looping right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horse lands a nice looking body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Spar has Horse up against the cage in a clinch.
Spar has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Horse should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Horse trying to control the position but instead, Spar has worked for underhooks and has pushed Horse into the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Crazy Horse. Spar closes the distance and clinches. A battle for position here, against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Spar turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Spar manages to end up in side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Bjj Spar showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Spar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
