Melkonyan throws a shot from downtown. Kasserman moves away and avoids it.
Kasserman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kasserman lands with a nice body punch.
Melkonyan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Melkonyan throws a right hand that Kasserman ducks under and follows up with a left that Kasserman also avoids with ease.

Melkonyan thows a body shot but no joy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A punch lands to the side of Melkonyan 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kasserman scores with a head kick. Melkonyan tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kasserman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kasserman tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Melkonyan is able to avoid easily.

Kasserman looks to land a combination but Melkonyan avoids it well.
Melkonyan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kasserman staying out of range there.

Kasserman tries a head kick but it misses.
Melkonyan checks a leg kick nicely.
Kasserman lands a high kick!
Kasserman catches Melkonyan napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Melkonyan to the canvas!
Melkonyan is rocked!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kasserman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Melkonyan is still in real trouble! Can Kasserman finish him?
Kasserman loads up on a big left hand. Melkonyan felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kasserman looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Melkonyan can't hide his disappointment, as Kasserman celebrates the victory.
