Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Conlon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pwnasaurus Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rex has chosen The Forest as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Pwnasaurus Rex has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pwnasaurus Rex!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Conlon as Rex shoots in.
Rex looks for a takedown but Conlon sprawls well.
Rex changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Conlon tries to avoid it but Rex manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Conlon to the ground. Conlon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tommy Conlon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pwnasaurus Rex.

Conlon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rex wants a takedown but no success here.

Rex tries to keep at a distance but Conlon has taken the fight into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Conlon takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Rex has hold of one of Conlon's legs. Conlon is fighting the takedown attempt but Rex gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rex connects with a nice short shot to Conlon's temple.

Rex wants to take a breather but Conlon is having none of it.

Conlon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rex on the ground.
Rex lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Conlon is positioning himself well to prevent Rex advancing to mount.

Rex is taking a breather. Conlon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Rex takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Rex is trying to control the action in half guard but Conlon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rex slips a nice elbow through Conlon's hands, connecting with Conlon's forehead.

Conlon makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rex is trying to control the action in half guard but Conlon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Conlon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Conlon tries to get out of the position.
Conlon pushes Rex off looking to stand but Rex dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pwnasaurus Rex showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rex feints a jab promting Conlon to slip. Rex then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Conlon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Rex lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Conlon circles away quickly and effectively.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rex looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Pwnasaurus Rex is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Conlon moves in looking to clinch but Rex pushes him off.

Rex closes the distance and clinches.

Rex has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Conlon regains guard immediately.

Conlon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rex swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Conlon gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Rex is landing with some decent strikes but Conlon is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Conlon is bucking up trying to escape but Rex cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Rex loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Conlon scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Rex land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Rex stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 5, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pwnasaurus Rex!
Pwnasaurus Rex is the new middleweight champion!
Pwnasaurus Rex decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
