Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lane Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bearach Cunningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cunningham has chosen Scotland the Brave and the Green Hills of Tyrol as his entrance music. Bearach Cunningham has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lane Andrews! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bearach Cunningham! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cunningham moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Cunningham thuds a left hand into Andrews's body. Sloppy strikes from Andrews. Those never looked like landing. Andrews moves out of range of the strikes. Andrews lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Andrews drops Cunningham with a left and a right! Oh, Cunningham is hurt - Andrews dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Bearach Cunningham has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Cunningham struggling a bit here. The ground and pound from Andrews seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Andrews tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Andrews tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Andrews has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Andrews working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrews thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cunningham tries to buck Andrews off but Andrews is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andrews decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cunningham to his feet. Cunningham missing with a left hand there. Andrews was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Andrews slips under a jab. Andrews will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Andrews throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Andrews avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cunningham swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Andrews, as that shot connected.
Lane Andrews seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cunningham misses with a few strikes there.
Andrews bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cunningham's head backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Andrews swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Cunningham scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Andrews doesn't seem bothered though. Andrews looks to land a combination but Cunningham avoids it well. Andrews throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice uppercut lands for Cunningham. That snapped Andrews's head back.

Lane Andrews is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cunningham uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Cunningham lands a body shot.

and Andrews takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andrews swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cunningham counters with a straight right hand. Cunningham throws an overhand right that lands on Andrews's shoulder, as Andrews tries to avoid the shot. Some wild striking there from Cunningham.
Andrews throws a right and a left that Cunningham avoids nicely. Cunningham lands a head shot. Andrews misses with a few strikes there.
Andrews throws a looping overhand right but Cunningham ducks down to avoid it. A swing and a miss from Cunningham. Cunningham connects with a right hand. Andrews shakes it off. Cunningham throws a shot to the body.
A combination from Cunningham does no damage. Andrews looks to throw the jab but Cunningham is out of range. Andrews misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cunningham lands a really nice looking cross but Andrews seems unphased.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Andrews takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Cunningham is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Andrews had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Andrews dodges the punch combination from Cunningham.
Cunningham lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Andrews is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrews shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Oh Andrews is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Andrews lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Andrews seems to have got his legs back now. Cunningham misses with an uppercut. Cunningham connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Andrews gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Andrews working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cunningham. Andrews has his feet on Cunningham's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Andrews throws a shot from downtown. Cunningham moves away and avoids it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Andrews misses with a few strikes there.
Cunningham throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cunningham works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. No joy there for Andrews, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cunningham displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Andrews throws out the jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lane Andrews will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Bearach Cunningham's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cunningham swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Andrews. Andrews throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cunningham throws a body punch but Andrews moves out of range. Andrews misses with a body shot.
Cunningham shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Andrews eats them both and turns towards Cunningham to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Cunningham misses with a looping left. Good standup being displayed there by Cunningham as he connects with a hook. Cunningham throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cunningham throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Cunningham lands a big right hand that sends Andrews crashing to the mat! Cunningham stays standing though and waves Andrews back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cunningham drops Andrews with a straight right hand, right on the button! Cunningham follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bearach Cunningham! After the fight, Bearach Cunningham was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
