Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chimenk Damone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Deftones - Feiticeira. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Damone sprawls well. Damone wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet.
Damone feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Damone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Diaz has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Damone doesn't defend quickly enough and Diaz has managed to lock this one up! Can Damone escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Diaz on a fantastic submission victory.
