Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kong Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le's entrance music is Ave Maria. A fine choice. Steel has chosen Its a Fight as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kong Le!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julius Steel!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steel manages to avoid it.
Some wild striking there from Steel.
Le cracks Steel with a good jab.
Le swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Steel counters with a slapping leg kick.
Steel tries to work over Le's front leg with a kick but Le checks it.
Steel throws a series of punches but Le moves out of range.
Steel just misses with a punch to the body.
Steel tries for a takedown but Le sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Le tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A slapping leg kick lands for Le.
Steel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Le.

Le avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Steel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Le swats away the attempt to clinch by Steel.

Steel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Le tries to avoid it but Steel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Le to the ground. Le escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kong Le is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Steel avoids the body shot from Le.
Steel tries to bum rush Le with a series of wild strikes but Le uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Steel throws a right hand that Le ducks under and follows up with a left that Le also avoids with ease.
Steel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Le uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Steel.

Horrible takedown by Steel or perhaps it was just good defense by Le which made him look bad.
Steel tries to clinch up but Le circles away and keeps his distance.

Kong Le seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
