The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Cavalera as Bobles shoots in.
Bobles throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cavalera's waist but Cavalera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bobles off to one side.
Bobles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cavalera swivels and escapes.
Max Cavalera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Bobles.

Bobles is looking to reverse the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cavalera looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bobles with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Cavalera has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bobles is trying to escape the mount.

Cavalera with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Cavalera wants to finish this one by submission but Bobles is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cavalera.
Bobles keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bobles bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cavalera pushes a forearm under Bobles's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bobles is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
