Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mos Def (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Def might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mathematics. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mos Def! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Miller! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Miller has Def up against the cage in a clinch.
Miller lands a shot to the body. Miller misses with a punch on the inside.
Miller can't get the takedown.
Miller misses with some punches.
Def breaks the clinch.
Miller throws a body kick that misses. Def showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Miller.
Miller looks to score with a jab to the body but Def is just out of range. Good work by Miller as he checks the leg kick. Def lands a nice looking body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Def throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Miller fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Def has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Nice defenses there by Def. Def tries to sprawl but Miller drives through with a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Def wants to control but Miller is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Def is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Def is trying to stand back up but Miller is controlling him
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller moves nicely into side control. An elbow from Miller crashes against the mat.
Miller lands a nice forearm strike. Miller lands a nice forearm strike. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Miller looks up at the clock and then as Def takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Miller smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Def tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Miller is putting a hurting on Def here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Def is working to avoid the ground and pound but Miller connects with a decent elbow. Def is trying to improve his position. Miller working the head with strikes. Def wants to get back to his feet but Miller drags him back down. Miller postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Miller works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Def is rocked! Miller in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Def looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Miller turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Miller! Jumping up and down and very excited, Andrew Miller waved his t-shirt featuring Hopkins Athletics's logo in front of the cameras.
