Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Tapperoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Wallsall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Tapperoni! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pete Wallsall! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallsall stuffs the takedown attempt from Tapperoni. Tapperoni gets slowly back to his feet. Wallsall looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Wallsall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wallsall wants it to stay on the feet. Tapperoni displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wallsall. Tapperoni fails with the takedown and Wallsall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Tapperoni. That's going to take a lot out of him. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Tapperoni seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Tapperoni has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wallsall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tapperoni works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tapperoni pulls Wallsall in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tony Tapperoni just wasn't active enough. Tapperoni throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tapperoni fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tapperoni throws a nice outside leg kick. Tapperoni shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallsall sprawls well. He's pushed Tapperoni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tapperoni fails to land the takedown. Tapperoni doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wallsall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tapperoni's guard. Wallsall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tapperoni swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wallsall looking to sit in guard and control but Tapperoni gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wallsall keeping moving, preventing Tapperoni from controlling successfully. Wallsall looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tapperoni drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Tapperoni as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Wallsall screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Tapperoni! Nice submission victory there!
