PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jp Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Leszczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Benn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Icarus by Hopesfall. Trevor Leszczynski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leszczynski wants to clinch.
Leszczynski tries to clinch there but Benn circles away.
Benn scores with a jab to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Benn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Leszczynski has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Leszczynski and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Leszczynski has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Trevor Leszczynski has been cut.
Benn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Leszczynski tries to clinch there but Benn circles away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Benn punishes Leszczynski's body with a nice straight punch.
Benn works the jab nicely.
Benn looks to throw the jab but Leszczynski is out of range.
A slow jab from Benn misses its intended target.

Benn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Leszczynski walks into a straight right hand from Benn.
Benn lands a really nice looking cross but Leszczynski seems unphased.
Leszczynski walks straight into a right hand from Benn - that's dropped him! Benn jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Leszczynski from any more punishment! Leszczynski complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
