Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Liriano walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rodriguez checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Liriano is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Rodriguez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Liriano paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Liriano goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Liriano lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rodriguez walks into a left hand.
Rodriguez takes one to the chin there.
Liriano throws a chopping leg kick but Rodriguez manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Rodriguez tries to clinch up but Liriano circles away and keeps his distance.
Liriano lands a glancing blow to the side of Rodriguez's head.

Liriano uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Rodriguez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Liriano lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Rodriguez can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Liriano and Rodriguez drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Liriano.
