The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacerda takes one on the button.

Lacerda has Thorsen up against the cage in a clinch.
Thorsen is trying to push Lacerda away but Lacerda has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Lacerda breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lacerda misses with a head kick.
Lacerda walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Thorsen looks to land a left hand but Lacerda moved out of range nicely.
Lacerda shoots in for a double leg but Thorsen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lacerda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lacerda uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Thorsen.
Lacerda uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thorsen.
Lacerda misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thorsen's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Thorsen duly obliges.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thorsen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Lacerda with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Thorsen moves out of range of the leg kick from Lacerda.
Thorsen stuns Lacerda with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lacerda shoots in for a double leg but Thorsen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Thorsen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lacerda looks gassed!
Lacerda throws a push kick but Thorsen slaps the foot to one side.
Lacerda walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

A decent looking cross lands there for Thorsen.
Thorsen lands with a shot to the body.
Thorsen drops Lacerda with a naaaaasty hook - Lacerda is in real trouble here! Thorsen dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
