Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Hargh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hargh has chosen Dominant view as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hargh fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ali rushes Hargh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ali breaks from the clinch.
Hargh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ali feints and as Hargh raises his hands in defense, Ali changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ali gets to his feet. Hargh looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Hargh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hargh tries for a takedown but Ali circles away easily
and Ali counters with a single leg into guard. Hargh didn't expect that.
Ahmed Ali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Hargh .
Ali gets to his feet - Hargh follows without any prompting.

Ali is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Ali gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Ali gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Ali apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Ali closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hargh is looking to regain half guard here but Ali keeps moving and retains side control.
Hargh takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Ali tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Hargh is not content to let Ali control the position.

Ali wants to control but Hargh is keeping him busy.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ali thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hargh lands a nice looking body shot.

and Ali counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hargh !
Ali wants to control the pace but Hargh is squirming around nicely.

Hargh is looking for a sweep. Ali is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hargh stuffs the takedown.
Hargh closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hargh looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Hargh winds up and cracks Ali with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ali tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Hargh is working for an americana but Ali has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Hargh was thinking about the submission.
Hargh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hargh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hargh has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ali is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hargh turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hargh manages to end up in side control.

Hargh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ali can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ahmed Ali.
Well Ali has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
