Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dew Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chase is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Forever. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dew Rain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Denny Chase! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rain walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Chase scores with a body shot.
Chase throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rain on the side of the head. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rain. Chase throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jab from Chase. Chase works Rain's body with a nice hook. Rain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chase sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rain somewhat. This has been an exciting period of action! Rain fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dew Rain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chase dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rain takes a jab right on the kisser.

Rain gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chase. Chase connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Rain drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Chase wants to get back to his feet but Rain is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Chase looking to control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rain looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chase is fending him off so far but Rain persists. Nope, Chase circles away and we're back to standing. Chase is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rain rather than just go for the knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chase lands a jab to the nose. Rain has a takedown stuffed. Rain throws a sloppy head kick and Chase moves out of range easily. Chase leaves Rain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Chase throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rain stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Chase scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chase, as that shot connected.

Rain shoots in for a takedown but Chase shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Rain is breathing heavily. Chase scores with a jab to the body. Rain tries to clinch up but Chase circles away and keeps his distance. Chase lands a nice looking body shot.

He's got his arms around Chase's waist but Chase gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rain off to one side. Rain's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chase connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rain scrambles back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chase misses with a wild body shot. Chase getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Chase lands a jab to Rain's midsection. Chase bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rain's head. Rain takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rain is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chase sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nice straight punches there by Chase. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Chase. Chase lands with a shot to the body. Chase is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rain had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Rain fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Chase to the ground. Rain is now in Chase's guard. Chase wants to get back to his feet but Rain is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Chase is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chase wants to stand but Rain is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rain decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Chase, up you get! Rain looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chase lands a jab to Rain's midsection. Rain shoots in for a takedown but Chase shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Denny Chase dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Rain closes the distance and clinches up with Chase, looking for a takedown. Rain pushes Chase against the cage but Chase circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Chase with a body punch. A glancing blow. Chase misses the shot to the body. Chase lands the left hand. Rain shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rain trying to mount his opponent but Chase defends it. Rain sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chase defending well though. Rain throws a strike but Chase avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Chase keeping full guard, as Rain tries to pass. Chase wants to stand and escape but Rain is having none of it. Chase really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rain throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chase works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rain stands and steps away. Chase gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Chase throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rain sees it coming and avoids it easily. Chase moves out of range as Rain strikes. Rain fails with an attempt to clinch.

Chase tries to avoid it but Rain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chase to the ground. Chase escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dew Rain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chase fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Chase ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Chase looks to score with a jab to the body but Rain is just out of range. Rain takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rain shoots in but no luck this time. Rain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chase circles away. A jab from Chase finds it's way through Rain's defenses. Rain shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chase as he avoids it easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rain takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rain walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chase thuds a left hand into Rain's body. Rain walks straight into an uppercut. Rain shoots in looking for a takedown but Chase manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rain's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Rain takes one on the button.
And that's the end of the fight! Denny Chase comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Chase winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
