Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Red Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Dog Vachon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolf's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Imperial March. Vachon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gros jambon. Red Wolf has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Mad Dog Vachon! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vachon wants to clinch up but Wolf keeps it at a distance. Jab from Wolf. Vachon takes a jab right on the kisser.
Wolf lands with an uppercut that bounces Vachon off the cage and back into range. Wolf ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vachon moves away. Wolf lands with a nice body punch. Vachon tries to move into range but Wolf moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Wolf is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Vachon needs to keep his hands up - Wolf had a free shot at his head there. Wolf fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vachon manages to avoid it. Nice shot by Wolf. Vachon misses with a takedown attempt - Wolf sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Vachon doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wolf counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vachon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wolf napping and manages to drive through into side control! Wolf is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Vachon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wolf has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vachon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. He's almost out here... but no, Vachon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Vachon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wolf, who protects the arm well. Vachon swings around for an armbar but Wolf sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Vachon's guard. Wolf is posturing up here but Vachon has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Wolf tries to roll out but it's too tight and Wolf has to tap! Slick submission there by Vachon!
