Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergeant Peppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood. Peppers has chosen Wanton Song -- Led Zepplin as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sergeant Peppers was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peppers throws a shot from downtown. Fox moves away and avoids it.
Peppers walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Fox scores with a nice head shot.
Peppers blocks a low kick nicely.
Good leg kick by Peppers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Peppers changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fox throws a nice looking combination but Peppers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Fox fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Peppers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Peppers misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Peppers has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Poor strikes thrown by Peppers there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Peppers is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Fox rather than just go for the knockout.

Peppers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fox to score with a decent uppercut.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peppers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Peppers thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fox's head.
Fox is staying active underneath Peppers, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Peppers is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fox doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Peppers.
