The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan IV throws a push kick but Uno slaps the foot to one side.
Sullivan IV jabs at Uno's body.
Sullivan IV tries a head kick but it misses.
Sullivan IV drops his hands momentarily and Uno takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like John L Sullivan IV has been cut.
Sullivan IV uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Uno.
Sullivan IV tries to score with a low kick but Uno moves his leg out of the way.
Sullivan IV throws a low kick but Uno avoids it.
Uno throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Uno looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Uno looks to land a combination but Sullivan IV avoids it well.
Sullivan IV misses with a head kick.
Uno stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sullivan IV.
Uno looks for the body kick but Sullivan IV saw that one coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sullivan IV lands a jab to the nose.
Uno lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Uno tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sullivan IV paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sullivan IV lands a head kick. Uno smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A head kick misses from Uno.
Sullivan IV pushes Uno away with a front kick.
Uno connects with the punch.
Sullivan IV looks to land a left hand but Uno moved out of range nicely.
Sullivan IV clobbers Uno with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sullivan IV avoids the body shot from Uno.
Sullivan IV throws a leg kick but Uno sees it coming and moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Uno looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Uno digs a good hook to Sullivan IV's body.
Sullivan IV thows a body kick. Uno tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sullivan IV thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Uno if he has to take too many more of those.
Sullivan IV lands a nice shot to the body.

Sullivan IV scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Uno doesn't seem bothered though.

Uno takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sullivan IV turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sullivan IV swats away the attempt to clinch by Uno.
Uno misses with a straight left.
Sullivan IV lands a jab to Uno's midsection.
John L Sullivan IV is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sullivan IV.

Uno rushes Sullivan IV and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sullivan IV can't find room to land a body shot as Uno controls the action.
Uno tries a knee to the head but Sullivan IV blocks it.
Uno with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Sullivan IV pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Uno is looking to clinch but Sullivan IV is avoiding it.
Uno on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Uno chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sullivan IV can pounce on him.
Uno fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sullivan IV thows a body shot but no joy.
Uno tries to clinch but Sullivan IV is having none of it.
Sullivan IV feints and then cracks Uno's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Uno down.
Uno takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sullivan IV swings for the body but Uno moves out of range.
Uno tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sullivan IV paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Uno missing with a left hand there. Sullivan IV was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Uno is looking to clinch but Sullivan IV is avoiding it.
Uno fails in his attempt to clinch.
Uno will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Look low, kick high! Sullivan IV uses the oldest trick in the book to send Uno tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Sullivan IV is absolutely delighted - when Uno wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

John L Sullivan IV decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
