The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Little shoots in looking for a takedown. Kent tries to sprawl out of it but Little keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kent manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kent closes the distance and clinches.

Kent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kent lands a nice shot to the body.
Kent lands with an uppercut that bounces Little off the cage and back into rage.

It looks like James Little has been cut.
Kent stuffs the takedown.

Kent bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Kent is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Little knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Little is breathing heavily.

Kent wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Little, who protects the arm well.

Kent regains half guard.

Little is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kent is just riding it out for now. Little eventually gives up the hold.

Little seems to be looking for submissions.
Little has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kent is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Little sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Kent has no choice but to tap and Little jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
