Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pons De Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yo Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pons De Leon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yo Rua! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rua tries to sprawl but De Leon drives through with a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Leon throwing shots but Rua is blocking nicely. De Leon drops an elbow to the side of Rua's head. De Leon thows a huge punch but Rua dodges it nicely.
Rua blocking the ground and pound attempt from De Leon. De Leon landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! De Leon is nestled in close to Rua, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Still in half guard, De Leon seems content to control. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. De Leon lands a nice short elbow. Rua trying to hold on to De Leon's head to control him but De Leon postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Leon trying to control from half guard but Rua is working away. De Leon throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. De Leon is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

De Leon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rua with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. De Leon missing with the ground and pound from half guard. De Leon scores with a couple of good hammerfists. De Leon is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rua has managed to free his arm - good work. De Leon working Rua over with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. De Leon is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. De Leon throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. De Leon landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. De Leon working the head and body with strikes. De Leon working Rua over with strikes. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rua can do anything to dispel that myth. De Leon looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round. De Leon missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rua has hold of De Leon's hands but De Leon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. De Leon sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Rua! Oh, Rua is in big trouble! De Leon lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!
