Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marian Nilski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santeri Sikaniska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sikaniska has chosen 2 Brothers on the 4th floor - Fairytales as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Santeri Sikaniska!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nilski bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nilski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nilski misses with a wild combination.
Sikaniska attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Nilski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nilski swings away with a body shot that misses

and Sikaniska holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sikaniska lands with a left to the head.
Sikaniska lands a right hand that snaps the head of Nilski backwards.
Sikaniska lands an uppercut.
Sikaniska is looking to take this one to the mat.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sikaniska - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Sikaniska lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Sikaniska turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Nilski seems a little lost for a moment, as Sikaniska dominates the positioning.
Nilski is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Sikaniska has hold of Nilski's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Nilski manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nilski pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sikaniska back to the cage. Nilski follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Marian Nilski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nilski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sikaniska moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sikaniska drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nilski gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Sikaniska turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sikaniska manages to end up in side control.

Sikaniska might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nilski kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sikaniska is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Nilski has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Sikaniska has control of Nilski's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nilski regains control of the situation pretty easily.

You get the feeling that Nilski really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Sikaniska wants to finish this one by submission but Nilski is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sikaniska.
