Blackchicks has chosen call to prayer as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackchicks cracks a nice hook into Mitchell's ribs.
Mitchell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mitchell tries to close the distance and clinch but Blackchicks swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Blackchicks thuds a left hand into Mitchell's body.
Mitchell misses with a takedown
and Blackchicks counters with a stiff right hand.
Mitchell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Blackchicks lands with an uppercut that bounces Mitchell off the cage and back into range.
Blackchicks catches Mitchell with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Blackchicks throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Nice takedown defense from Blackchicks. No joy for Mitchell on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Mitchell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mitchell tries a head kick but it misses.
Mitchell takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Decent striking displayed by Blackchicks there.
Mitchell is looking to chop away at Blackchicks's legs.
Mitchell doesn't manage to clinch there - Blackchicks circles away.
Mitchell moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mitchell throws the kick towards the body but Blackchicks avoids it.

Mitchell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Blackchicks chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Blackchicks throws a good cross that connects.

Mitchell is rocked!
Mitchell tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Blackchicks is able to avoid easily.
Blackchicks fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mitchell on the side of the head.
Oh Mitchell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mitchell stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Blackchicks.
Mitchell closes the distance but Blackchicks moves to the side
letting Blackchicks counter with a right hand.
Eyesometimes Blackchicks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blackchicks lands with a nice body punch.
Mitchell misses with a shot to the body
and Blackchicks counters with a low kick, right behind Mitchell 's knee.
Mitchell is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Blackchicks has cracked Mitchell with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Blackchicks lands another huge swinging hook and Mitchell tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Mitchell, before Blackchicks can land any more shots!
