Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cray Vasil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cray Vasil! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vasil sprawls well. Vasil wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hall gets slowly back to his feet. Vasil moves out of range of the body kick from Hall.
Vasil tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hall manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hall throws a series of punches but Vasil moves out of range. Vasil blocks a head kick by Hall.
Vasil gets a clinch. Hall tries to pull guard but Vasil won't allow it.
Hall can't break the clinch.
Hall tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vasil escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hall pulls guard effortlessly.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Vasil stops Hall from standing up. Hall keeping moving, preventing Vasil from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vasil avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Vasil tries to free his leg and advance position but Hall is retaining full guard. Hall has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Vasil sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hall's guard. Hall trying to control here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Vasil is taking a breather. Hall says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Hall wants to get back to full guard. Vasil uses his free foot to push down on Hall's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hall.
Vasil looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Vasil gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Vasil stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vasil wants it to stay on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall is looking to clinch but Vasil is avoiding it.
Hall misses with a wild combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hall. Vasil throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hall. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vasil is defended easily by Hall. Nice sprawl there from Hall as Vasil shoots in. Vasil has a takedown stuffed. Vasil looks gassed! Vasil tries to clinch but Hall moves out of range.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Vasil shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vasil showed some decent athleticism there. Hall tries to get to full guard but Vasil has control of the leg. Hall is looking to escape. Vasil perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vasil seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hall does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hall tries to get to full guard but Vasil has control of the leg. Hall wants to get back to his feet.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Cray Vasil dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Vasil fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hall avoids it really well and circles away. Hall fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Vasil throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hall fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vasil to the ground. Hall is now in Vasil's guard. Hall tries to stand but Vasil is controlling from the bottom. Hall has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hall gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Hall bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hall lands a few punches from side control. Hall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vasil keeps working. Vasil manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Hall trying to control the action but Vasil is working from the bottom. Vasil works his way to full guard. Good work. Vasil is breathing heavily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Vasil wants to get back to his feet but Hall is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hall wants to control from the top but Vasil keeps moving. Vasil working a defensive guard here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
 We're going to have a standup here because David Hall wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Hall goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Hall misses. Vasil moves out of range of the body kick from Hall.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Vasil!
Vasil shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. No luck for Hall with that takedown attempt. Hall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vasil as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vasil tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hall paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Vasil stops Hall from standing up. Vasil trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vasil on the ground. Hall working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vasil connects with a couple of short punches. Hall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hall is working hard here to advance position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vasil lands a couple of digs. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
David Hall dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Vasil shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense. The fight stays on the outside here - Vasil looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vasil scores with a one two! Hall had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Vasil cracks Hall with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hall closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Vasil is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hall off and has taken his back! Vasil avoiding Hall 's attempts to control his hands. Vasil wants to control but Hall is keeping busy. Vasil takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hall trying to control the hands but Vasil breaks the grip. Vasil keeps control of the position as Hall tries to break free.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Vasil really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Hall.

Vasil lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Hall is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Vasil gets his way!
Hall breaks Vasil's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

 David Hall has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Hall walks into a jab. Vasil throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. No luck for Vasil with that takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Hall looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hall wants to clinch up but Vasil keeps it at a distance. David Hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hall misses with a head kick.
Hall misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A combination from Vasil does no damage.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Cray Vasil. I think Vasil has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
