The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller tries for a takedown but Dyer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dyer with a jab.
Dyer cracks a nice hook into Miller's ribs.
Dyer looks to score with a jab to the body but Miller is just out of range.
Miller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dyer manages to avoid it.
Dyer misses with a body shot.
Dyer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dyer lunges at Miller with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Miller's hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Dyer counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dyer works Miller's body with a nice hook.
Dyer throws a body punch but Miller moves out of range.

Matt Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dyer catches Miller with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Miller shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dyer as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dyer throws a pinpoint strike between Miller's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Miller crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Dyer scores a great knockout victory!
