Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Justina Vanovcan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoko Gushiken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vanovcan comes to the cage accompanied by Moskau. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Justina Vanovcan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yoko Gushiken! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gushiken will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gushiken scores with a hook. Vanovcan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vanovcan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gushiken sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vanovcan somewhat. Gushiken fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Vanovcan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Vanovcan fails with a takedown attempt. Vanovcan darts in trying to clinch and Gushiken counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Gushiken fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Vanovcan moves to clinch but Gushiken breaks away and Gushiken counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vanovcan moves out of range of the strikes. Vanovcan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gushiken. Gushiken throws a front kick aimed at Vanovcan's knee but Vanovcan avoids it well. Gushiken looks to score with a jab to the body but Vanovcan is just out of range. Vanovcan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gushiken to score with a decent uppercut. Gushiken scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vanovcan doesn't seem bothered though. Gushiken misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vanovcan.
The fighters circling - Gushiken throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Vanovcan closes the distance and clinches. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Vanovcan just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gushiken's brow. Gushiken lands a nice uppercut. Vanovcan misses with an elbow over the top. Vanovcan lands a knee to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vanovcan landing knees to the head.
Vanovcan jumps guard but Gushiken stands there with Vanovcan around his waist. Vanovcan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Gushiken effectively controlling the action here. Gushiken lands a hook that snaps the head of Vanovcan backwards. Vanovcan blocks a body shot from Gushiken. Vanovcan fails to pull guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vanovcan has Gushiken pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gushiken manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Gushiken prevents a takedown attempt there.
A short right from Gushiken on the inside. Gushiken stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Gushiken blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Gushiken is stalling here.
Vanovcan putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Gushiken in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Gushiken lands a body punch in the clinch. Gushiken is leaning against Vanovcan and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Vanovcan is breathing heavily. Gushiken stalling the fight.

Gushiken's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Knees in the clinch landing for Vanovcan.
Gushiken lands a shot to the body. Gushiken looks to throw an elbow but misses. Gushiken lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Vanovcan with an attempt at a knee that misses.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Gushiken. Gushiken presses Vanovcan against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. A short left from Gushiken. Vanovcan creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Vanovcan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gushiken prevents it.
A short uppercut from Gushiken. Gushiken gets through Vanovcan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Gushiken throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A body shot lands from Gushiken.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vanovcan is looking to take this one to the mat. Gushiken has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Gushiken lands a body shot in the clinch.

Vanovcan is rocked! Gushiken cracks Vanovcan with a nice body shot. Gushiken slows down the pace here.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gushiken. Gushiken cracks Vanovcan with a nice body shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Vanovcan managing to block the knees to the body from Gushiken.
Gushiken lands with a right to the head. Vanovcan using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gushiken has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Gushiken prevents a takedown attempt there.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Gushiken. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoko Gushiken dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gushiken scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Gushiken keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Vanovcan darts in trying to clinch and Gushiken counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Some wild striking there from Gushiken.
Vanovcan wants to clinch but Gushiken slips to the side and Gushiken cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gushiken misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Vanovcan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gushiken tries to avoid it but Vanovcan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gushiken to the ground. Gushiken escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Donk. Gushiken catches Vanovcan right on the button with a cross. Vanovcan tries to clinch up but Gushiken circles away and keeps his distance. Vanovcan wants to clinch and Gushiken counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gushiken takes a swing at Vanovcan's ribcage but misses. Vanovcan closes the distance but Gushiken moves to the side and Gushiken counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Vanovcan darts in trying to clinch and Gushiken counters with a nice uppercut. Oh Vanovcan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Gushiken connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vanovcan. Vanovcan circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Gushiken circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vanovcan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gushiken defends it nicely. Vanovcan seems to have got his legs back now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justina Vanovcan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vanovcan shoots in looking for a takedown. Gushiken tries to sprawl out of it but Vanovcan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gushiken manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Gushiken. Gushiken lands a brutal head kick. Vanovcan looks out on his feet and Gushiken throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Our winner, Yoko Gushiken, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
