Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kingston Bartholemeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Martinez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Juicy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rafael Martinez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Kingston Bartholemeaux! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Good exchange - Martinez coming out on top. Martinez looks to land a combination but Bartholemeaux avoids it well. Martinez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bartholemeaux was well out of range. Poor timing from Martinez. Bartholemeaux fails to land with a series of punches.
Bartholemeaux shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Martinez looks to land a left hand but Bartholemeaux moved out of range nicely. Bartholemeaux keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Martinez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Martinez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bartholemeaux knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bartholemeaux wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bartholemeaux can do anything to dispel that myth. Martinez prevents Bartholemeaux from escaping the position. Bartholemeaux is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Martinez off and has taken his back! Martinez covering up well under a series of strikes from Bartholemeaux. This has been an exciting period of action! Bartholemeaux really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Martinez. Bartholemeaux really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Martinez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martinez is trying to get back to his feet but Bartholemeaux has full control of the position and if anything, Martinez has just worked his way into a worse spot. Bartholemeaux working for a choke but Martinez is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Martinez controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Martinez rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Martinez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Martinez has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Bartholemeaux. Oh but Martinez has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Bartholemeaux goes limp - he's gone! Martinez jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
