Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cedric Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Warren!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Daniels looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Warren misses with the combination.

Warren drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Daniels is looking for a sweep.

Warren tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Warren postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Daniels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Warren on the ground.

Warren working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Daniels's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Warren throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Warren is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Daniels knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Warren working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Daniels manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Warren is nestled in close to Daniels, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Warren trying to control the action but Daniels is working from the bottom.
Warren thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Warren seems to be looking for submissions.
Warren looks gassed!

Daniels is trying to stand.
Daniels tries to roll over but Warren keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daniels is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Warren's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Warren's back!
Warren is trying to break free.
Daniels is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Warren has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Daniels.
Warren tries to roll but Daniels sticks to his back.
Daniels is trying to stick to Warren's back but Warren is turning into Daniels. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Daniels's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Warren.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Daniels wants to get back to his feet but Warren is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Warren thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justin Warren dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Daniels tries a head kick but it misses.
The fighters circling - Daniels throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Daniels scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Daniels misses with a straight right.
Warren is looking to clinch but Daniels is avoiding it.
Warren is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Warren uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Daniels.
Daniels is looking to clinch.
Daniels misses with a few strikes there.
Cedric Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Warren slips under a jab from Daniels.
Daniels swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Warren.
Daniels throws a quick inside leg kick.

Daniels wants to clinch.
Warren is breathing heavily.
Daniels will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Daniels misses with a hook. Warren ducked under it nicely.
Daniels lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Warren is looking to close the distance but Daniels sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Warren crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Warren is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
