Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lars Ulrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Rowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lars Ulrich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chad Rowe! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ulrich stuffs the takedown attempt from Rowe. Rowe gets slowly back to his feet. Ulrich fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The fight moves into the clinch position. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Rowe manages to pull guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ulrich wants to pass the guard but Rowe is keeping the position. Rowe will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Ulrich pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rowe is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ulrich with a flurry of punches that miss. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rowe looking for a guillotine here but Ulrich defends easily.
Ulrich showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Rowe looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ulrich has gone for a leg lock! Rowe slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ulrich's guard. Ulrich knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rowe on the ground. Rowe sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ulrich's guard. Rowe sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ulrich defending well though. Rowe is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ulrich doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rowe. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ulrich tries to roll over but Rowe keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ulrich is refusing to be controlled, as Rowe sits in half guard. Ulrich works his way to full guard. Good work. Rowe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ulrich keeping moving, preventing Rowe from controlling successfully. Rowe stands and throws Ulrich's legs to the side, diving into side control. Rowe stands up and we're back to a striking position. Ulrich changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rowe tries to avoid it but Ulrich manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rowe to the ground. Rowe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rowe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ulrich moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ulrich shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rowe pinned against the cage. Rowe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lars Ulrich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rowe pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ulrich back to the cage. Rowe follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Ulrich fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rowe looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ulrich! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rowe tries to control but Ulrich wriggling away. Rowe swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ulrich is now in Rowe's guard. A big mistake from Rowe there, giving up the dominant position! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ulrich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rowe swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Rowe dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rowe stuffs the takedown. Ulrich fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rowe fails with a takedown attempt. Rowe moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Ulrich fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rowe avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lars Ulrich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rowe fails with a takedown attempt. Rowe shoots in and drives through. Ulrich sprawls well. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ulrich is defended easily by Rowe. Rowe shoots in for a takedown but Ulrich shows good takedown defense. Lars Ulrich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rowe has a takedown stuffed. Ulrich looks for a takedown but Rowe sprawls well. Ulrich drives through with a takedown into Rowe's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Ulrich is in close to Rowe's body, working some short punches and elbows. Rowe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ulrich is aware though and is defending well. Ulrich is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ulrich missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ulrich wants to control from the top but Rowe keeps moving. Rowe looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rowe is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ulrich looking to sit in guard and control but Rowe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rowe throws a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rowe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ulrich has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rowe has managed to get both his arms back between Ulrich's legs - danger averted. Rowe is working Ulrich over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Rowe wants to control from the top but Ulrich keeps moving. Rowe pushes down on Ulrich's leg and manages to get into half guard. Ulrich wants to get back to full guard. Rowe wants to control but Ulrich is keeping him busy. Rowe wants to stand up but Ulrich has a hold of him and won't allow it. Ulrich is not content to let Rowe control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ulrich won't allow Rowe to pass to mount. Rowe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rowe lands a nice short elbow. Ulrich is looking to control Rowe's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ulrich avoid being mounted? Ulrich is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rowe pulls his head out easily. Rowe is looking to stall here but Ulrich recovers full guard. Ulrich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rowe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rowe throws a big elbow that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Chad Rowe will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Chad Rowe. Ulrich closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ulrich thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rowe's head. Ulrich takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Rowe tries to get to full guard but Ulrich has control of the leg. Ulrich drops an elbow to the side of Rowe's head. Ulrich stalling. Ulrich is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rowe has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rowe regains full guard. Nicely done. Ulrich trying to control but Rowe is working from the bottom. Chad Rowe is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Rowe not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ulrich has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. This has been an exciting period of action! Ulrich controlling from the top position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Rowe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ulrich wants to control from the top but Rowe keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lars Ulrich. Rowe throws a one two combo.
Rowe scores with a one two! Ulrich had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Rowe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ulrich. Rowe leaves Ulrich with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lars Ulrich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ulrich will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ulrich fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rowe is out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Rowe or perhaps it was just good defense by Ulrich which made him look bad. Ulrich takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Ulrich will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rowe goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ulrich tries to close the distance and clinch but Rowe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rowe forces Ulrich back against the cage and clinches. Lars Ulrich has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rowe tries to work over Ulrich's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rowe goes for a takedown attempt but Ulrich pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ulrich drives through with a takedown into Rowe's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lars Ulrich. I think Rowe has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
