Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dynamite Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony McCowan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nixon comes to the cage accompanied by Fear is Our Tradition by Ignite. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCowan just misses with a punch to the body.
McCowan darts in trying to clinch
and Nixon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Tony McCowan has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from McCowan misses the target.
McCowan throws out a loose jab but Nixon uses good head movement to avoid it.
McCowan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
McCowan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nixon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nixon throws a good cross that connects.
McCowan throws a head kick that Nixon semi-blocks.
It looks like Dynamite Nixon has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nixon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A telegraphed right hand from Nixon misses the target.
Nixon drops McCowan with a nice combination! Nixon dives into McCowan's guard, looking to finish!
McCowan is rocked!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nixon arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! McCowan's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dynamite Nixon!
A less than humble Dynamite Nixon misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
